We Need Your Help!!

We've come a long way since our project began and we are pleased to announce that our ground breaking will take place April 21, 20008!

As you may know, the Douglas Skate PArk project began in 2002 with a small group of enthusiastic kids asking for help in creating a skateboard skate park. Several parents and volunteers came forward to assist.

Since that time a non-profit organization has been formed. The team has continued fund-raising and lobbying for an appropiate location.

With the cooperation of our Town administration and the support and generosity of our school department, a fantastic site has been designed near the Douglas Middle School.

At this time, our fund-raising will enable us to construct the park and offer the kids a safe place, out of the way of downtown traffic and businesses, to pratice their sport.

However, we are still in need of ramps and skating equipment!

At this time, we would like to request that you consider a donation that would help complete this project for the youth in our community. Your contribution will be tax deductible.

We are looking forward to seeing the kids out this summer enjoying their new Douglas Skate Park!

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

The Douglas Skate Park Committee
